One-off reminders

A one-time delayed automation runs something once and delivers it; a reminder just nudges you at a set time — and neither is the same as a task.

A one-time delay, not a recurring one

Instead of daily or weekly, ask emily to do something once, after a delay — "dentro de duas horas, manda-me as vendas de hoje" runs it a single time, later, rather than on a repeating schedule. See scheduling recurring work for the repeating version of the same thing. Like a recurring run, a one-time delayed run can deliver a report update or a custom request, to WhatsApp or email.

A reminder is a different thing

Asking her to remind you of something at a specific time — "avisa-me às 17h para ligar ao cliente" — isn't a delayed report or a custom request at all. It's a plain nudge: at the time you asked for, she tells you whatever you asked to be reminded of. It isn't a report update or an answer to a request — just the reminder itself.

How a reminder differs from a task

A reminder doesn't sit anywhere waiting for you to act on it — once it's told you, it's done. A task does sit somewhere: it's your own to-do, with a due date and priority, that stays on your list until you mark it done. See tasks for that, including how it also differs from a scheduled automation.
