Taking an order
Dictate or type a client's order and emily prepares it in Cegid PHC as an unsigned draft invoice for your back office, once she has read it back and you've said yes.
"Order for Acme: 3 boxes of cheese and 2 hams"
Tell emily the client and what they want, the way you'd write it down — on a call, in the phone app, on WhatsApp or in the web app. Add a note if there is one, such as delivery instructions.
Orders work on Cegid PHC with the direct ERP connection — see connect your ERP.
She finds the client, the products and the prices
emily matches the client and each product against your ERP, and asks which one you mean if a name could match more than one. Each line is priced at the price you said for it, or else the last price that client paid for that product, or else the product's list price.
Nothing goes in until you say yes
Before anything reaches your ERP, she reads the whole order back — the client, each line with its quantity and price, and the total — and waits for your yes. If a similar order for that client has already been taken, she tells you before you confirm.
Once you confirm, the order goes into Cegid PHC as an unsigned draft invoice that your back office reviews and finalises as usual. If it doesn't go through, she tells you plainly.
Check on your orders
Ask "did the Acme order go through?" or "what orders do I have pending?" and she tells you where each one stands.
Who can take orders
You can take orders in the companies you have access to with the Sales topic, and a rep only for their own clients. See access by company and topic.
